EdstanleY Rocks MTV's "The Hills"
Bassist Dave Rees came out of the gates like a man possessed and brought a thundering low end rhythm that carried EdstanleY into musical nirvana. Drummer Justin Brescia displayed a rhythmic tightness and an intense, powerful drum display that was reminiscent of the great Dave Grohl. With the blessing of this tight rhythm section backbone, guitarist/singer Scott Gripe took the raucous crowd through a dynamic journey of smooth, flowing vocals laced with intense, passionate screams and growling guitar riffs. This trio that the boys have dubbed EdstanleY was fearless and on point. After ripping through hits like "Drop Your Weapons", "The EdstanleY" and "Sleep Fine Baby", the boys closed out the show with an incredibly passionate performance of "The Revolution of Soul" that had the hundred or so fans in attendance clamouring for more.
You can check out EdstanleY's appearance on MTV's "The Hills" on an episode that should air in mid to late May. New episodes of "The Hills" air Tuesday nights on MTV at 8c/10p.

EdstanleY Launches New Website We hope you feel our new site rocks as hard as we do! We searched near and far to find the right designer for the job and found our guy 2,000 miles away at Kamstra Design in Chicago. Ray Kamstra's artistic eye and web skills were the perfect combination for expanding on our vision and making it a reality. All of the photography on our new website was shot by our boy Erik Fischer based in L.A. EdstanleY can't thank Erik enough for his awesome ability to capture our passion for music through his photography. |
